'The Sound Machine' is an initiative by Ian Lizandra, a young musician/designer/photographer from Barcelona, who currently lives in The Netherlands. This project invites sound and visual artists to use the story 'The Sound Machine' by Roald Dahl as inspiration for a musical or visual piece.

The participating artists donate their time, talent and credibility to create a one-of-a-kind multi-media project that will be compiled on DVD. The DVD will be accompanied by a photo-booklet, featuring beautiful photography by project founder Ian Lizandra. A selection of those photos is displayed below.
